Editing[]
- Editing the Wiki is easy and encouraged!
- There are Tutorials for basic and advanced editing.
- If in doubt, you can always revert your own edit to restore the page to its original state, and no harm done.
- If you have any questions or ideas, feel free to post on an Admin's wall.
Sandboxes[]
- You can play in the Arcanum Community Sandbox and try anything that you like there. Seriously, it is made to make mistakes.
- Or you can create your own sandbox page by making the first line
{{Sandbox}}and experimenting in there. - If you do that, please include "Sandbox" in the article name so that we know it is not vandalism.
- You can link out of a Sandbox, but please don't link into one except from another sandbox or your own wall or profile page.
Templates[]
- Templates are used to keep entries in the same category consistent.
- This usually includes a standardized outline form and sometimes an infobox.
- Variations are possible, but the core of the template usually stays intact.
- If an entry is not fitting well with the category template, then think about a new or different category
