Keys are items that are designed to open their respective lock, be it for a door or a container. In lieu of a key, locked items may be opened by Pick Locks, or with the Unlocking Cantrip, or simply by destroying them with weapons.
Single keys can be stored in a player's inventory. Or they can be stored collectively on a Key Ring.
